A. Music Box
B. C.D. Player
C. Record Player
D. Phonograph

If you guessed C or D, you're right!

Thomas A. Edison invented the phonograph, later called a record player, in 1877!
Sound is recorded by tracing delicate, wavy lines that are cut into the grooves of a disk or cylinder by sound waves. Then, when a needle retraces the wavy line, the original sound is heard. ("Groovy!"--huh?)
