She involves children and parents in the storytelling

"It has been a golden opportunity to have Goldie author
Erin Dealey come to visit our schools.
Not only does she have a fun and inspirational presentation,
but she also is skilled at getting students involved in an improvisation of her story,
to the delight of audiences and participants alike."
—Beth Chamberlain, Coordinator
ELLI (English Language and Literacy Intensive) Grant
Napa City County Library, CA

"Hopefully you were able to join us for Author Day on Friday, April 23rd.
Erin Dealey was the guest author, in addition to being
the presenter for our February Family Night.
We had two Author Day assemblies and Erin's
dramatic reenactment of her book, Goldie Locks Has Chicken Pox,
with the help of our very own student cast, was very entertaining.
Erin also shared the original manuscript, or sloppy copy,
of her book along with excerpts from her childhood journal
as motivation for aspiring writers.
She hosted a writers workshop in the afternoon
and ended the day with book signing in the library.
Erin received rave reviews from students and teachers alike!"
